"Trufaldino or the servant of two masters" is a story of incredible coincidences and of no less strange misunderstandings.
Every moment of the personages-two pairs of lovers and other representatives of the Commedia dell'Arte, such as Panatalone, Doctor, Brigella, Smeraldine, and of course the doughty servant Trufaldino - appears so sparkling that it makes think on the colourful and picturesque theatrical representations that were played.
The personages of "Trufaldino" are ready for everything, for every surprise or every turn of Fortune, as they know that life without the unexpected is like a boring fag and nothing more.
Even in the situations, which bring to the personages the things being not very joyful neither very desirable, a real anger as well as a real jealousy are absent from the stage in this performance. For it is a theatre of joy.
Polish premiere: February 17, 2006
