The Big Stage
The protagonist of the play is a ten-year-old autistic girl suffering from cancer, who confronts her condition - infantile autism - with a touching serenity. High artistic value is guaranteed by the very name of Krystyna Janda, whose choice was decisive in bringing the play to the repertoire. Janda decided also that all play-related publication income be transferred to Synapsis, a Polish foundation for autistic children (one of its initiatives is a hospital near the Pilot's Monument in Warsaw).

Polish premiere: October 2, 2001.
